The water intake chamber is a plastic container with a cover mounted on a hinge. A steel ball valve was placed inside the chamber. The valve has 3/4 inch threaded connections on the inlet and outlet (GW-GZ). The chamber should be installed flush with the ground so that the cover can be opened. We recommend connecting the chamber to the water system using a 3/4 inch PE GZ elbow.
The garden hose should be connected to the chamber by using a quick-connector with a GW 3/4 inch thread.
The water intake chamber with a 3/4 inch valve FULL has a cover with an additional flap. The full cover of the sump protects its interior from snails, provides additional protection for the valve against low temperatures and acts as an additional decoration for any garden.
The water intake chamber with a 3/4 inch valve FULL is available in a configuration with a green cover (easy to hide version – HIDE), with an orange cover (easy to find version – FIND) and a brown cover (easily hidden in the bark – STONE version).
